A promotion for the boxing match between Ultimate Lightweight Champion and multi-champion Floyd Mayweather was world-class and, with that, people from all over the world set aside their time for the prestigious.

With so much disclosure, a big pay-per-view sale was already expected and, for example, will hit record sales. But there is also the bad side of the coin. Both Floyd and McGregor - who have a share in the profits - of PPV, as well as TV broadcasters around the world stopped billing much more because of pirate transmissions.

According to content security provider 'Irdeto', they were hosted by 239 sources of illegal broadcasts only for May-Mac. These broadcasts were viewed by about 2.93 million people worldwide. Still according to 'Irdeto', 67 of the sources of pirated broadcasts were provided on well-known sites like Facebook, YouTube, Periscope and Twitch.

But the damage still has not stopped there, according to a pirate tracking company 'Tecxipio' the fight between Floyd MayWeather was made available for download soon after the match and was downloaded by about 445,000 internet users.
